TEPS provides medical offices and hospitals with isolated power panels and more from PG LifeLink. Their proven products offer the most versatile method for safely supplying power, gas, vacuum and nurse call to the patient care areas of hospitals. TEPS. Power to Michigan.

PG LifeLink

TEPS chooses PG LifeLink as the complete source for safely controlling power and improving productivity in medical operating rooms and patient care areas.

It has been a leading name in isolated power products for over five decades, offering patient safety equipment including Isolated Power Panels and Accessories, Line Isolation Monitors, Surgical Facility Panels, Portable Laser and X-Ray Panels, Digital Clock/Timers, X-Ray Film Viewers, Patient Service Consoles, Operating Room Stereos, Versa-Duct Aluminum Surface Mount Raceway Systems and Lab Power System Products.

IDP Isolated Power Panel

IDP Isolated Power Panel contains all the basic elements of an isolated power system - shielded isolation transformer, line isolation monitor, circuit breaker panel and ground bus. This unit is most commonly installed in the corridor outside the operating room with remote receptacles inside the operating room. It is also recommended in all flammable anesthesia and "wet" locations, and any area where the interruption of power cannot be tolerated.

IDC Isolated Power Center

The Isolated Power Center provides receptacles and ground jacks for intensive care and coronary care units. This panel is also used in cardiac catheterization labs, emergency rooms, critical care and recovery areas, in addition to anesthetizing locations. The IDC contains all the basic elements of an isolated power system - shielded isolation transformer, line isolation monitor, circuit breaker panel and ground bus. It also includes a maximum of six to eight 120 volt, UL listed twist-lock, duplex or parallel blade receptacles and up to seven ground jacks for additional grounding points.

DIDP Duplex Isolated Power Panel

The DIDP Duplex Isolated Power Panel contains two separate isolated power systems in one enclosure. A divider from top to bottom separates each system from each other. Both systems contain the basic elements of an isolated power system - shielded isolation transformer, line isolation monitor, circuit breaker panel and ground bus.

The DIDP can be mounted inside or outside of the operating room. If it is mounted outside of the operating room a remote annunciator must be mounted inside the room in accordance with the NEC.  The DIDP is most often used to supply Emergency and Normal power to the 120 volt service to receptacles in the operating room.

XTLD Dual Voltage Isolated Power Panel

The XTLD Dual Voltage Isolated Power Panel is a single panel with one transformer and two different ungrounded output voltages. This panel is designed to supply ungrounded power for one operating room. It can be mounted inside or outside the room. The 208 volt circuits are used to power laser, x-ray or where 208 volt ungrounded power is required. The 120 volt circuits are used to power 120 volt appliances found inside the operating room. The Dual Voltage Isolated Power Panel is factory equipped with up to 16 each two-pole branch circuit breakers for the 120 volt winding and two each two-pole branch circuit breakers for the 208 volt winding. Six each 120 volt duplex, six ground jacks and two each 208 volt receptacles are the maximum that can be mounted on the front of the panel.

Surgical Facility Panel

This multi-functional panel incorporates many of the standard facilities required in an operating room:

  • Line Isolation Monitor is the Self-Testing, Self-Calibrating PG LIFELINK Mark IV LIM. It is plainly visible on the front of the panel and constantly indicates the condition of the isolated power system.
  • Dual Voltage Isolation Transformer is available when 120 and 208 voltages are required from the same isolation transformer.
  • X-Ray Film Viewer is a double unit with uniform illumination.
  • White Dry Erase Marker Board provides an easily accessible area to record data or instructions and can be substituted for the X-ray Film Viewer.
  • Digital Clock is the PG LIFELINK Model DC with large 2.7" LED display, with capacitor backup.
  • Digital Timer is the PG LIFELINK Model DT. The large 2.7" LED digits are bright and easy to read, with capacitor backup.
  • Circuit Breakers provide over-current protection to panel mounted receptacles and can also protect remotely mounted receptacles. Each circuit breaker is labeled for quick and easy reference.
  • Receptacles are hospital grade and may be 23000HG twist lock, 8300-R duplex or 8310 single parallel blade.
  • Ground Jacks can be mounted on accessory panels to provide additional grounding points for surgical equipment. 30 AMP HAMPDEN 5LR-35.
  • Front Cover of the Surgical Facility Panel is stainless steel polished to a #4 satin finish, making the panel both attractive and corrosion resistant. The entire front is hinged allowing easy access to the interior for service and maintenance.

Line Isolation Monitors

The Mark IV Line Isolation Monitor (LIM) represented a giant leap for the isolated power industry. Powered by a microprocessor chip, it allows for a number of improved performance features, ensures detailed accuracy, and provides your operating rooms with a reliable power monitoring system.

The Mark V Line Isolation Monitor (LIM) is a major technological breakthrough. With it's improved functionality, including the on-board status display and PC interface, the Mark V is the most flexible LIM on the market today.

LIM-Connect Software allows remote monitoring and control of every Line Isolation Monitor in your facility from any network accessible PC.

X-Ray Film Viewers

The Wafer-Lite is PG LIFELINK's thinnest and most compact X-Ray Film Viewer. It is UL-listed and features four 15-watt fluorescent lamps for brght, even, non-glare illumination.

Wafer-Lite units are available in surface mount or recessed configurations. Please designate whether units are recessed or surface mounted when ordering.

TEPS offers turnkey solutions for power substations from a technology leader: ABB. Their consistent history of technology innovation positions them as the substation partner to rely on.

Utilities, municipalities and industrial plants throughout the U.S. depend on ABB for major substation expansions, retrofit or greenfield.

TEPS sources solution providers like ABB because they offer a turnkey system: the design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of the substation and full lifecycle support if needed.

For markets like windpower, ABB offers pre-engineered solutions for collector and interconnect substations. They can also provide economic and reliability analysis between various substation or transmission designs.

TEPS recommends ABB because their turnkey substation will provide the lowest total cost, the shortest schedule and the lowest risk. See more at ABB.com >
